Speaker NA discusses facilitation of Prisoners abroad

Islamabad: Asad Qaiser Speaker National Assembly was called on by Mr. Chaudhary Akhtar, Chairman, Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) regarding the expansion of welfare related activities in Pakistan.

Mr. Akhtar apprised the Speaker regarding government of Pakistan initiatives in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir for the rehabilitation of recent earthquake affectees.

During the meeting Honorable Speaker asked the KORT for the expansion of their welfare related activities throughout Pakistan especially for the establishment of Orphanages. Furthermore, the mechanism for the facilitation of Pakistani prisoners abroad for the minor crimes was discussed at length.  The Speaker applauded the untiring endeavors of Mr. Chaudhary Akhtar for the welfare of Pakistani people.
