Trump: Will Destroy Iranian Ships Near Blockade
US President Donald Trump

He noted that while small fast-attack crafts pose little threat, the U.S. response remains as swift and uncompromising as its maritime anti-drug operations, which he credited with intercepting 98.2% of narcotics entering the country.

In response, the spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces declared that Gulf ports will either be safe for all or safe for none.

Denouncing the U.S. restrictions in international waters as illegal and equivalent to "maritime piracy," the spokesperson warned that Iran will take all necessary measures to protect its national interests.

He emphasized that any attack on Iranian ports or maritime routes would trigger repercussions felt across the entire region.
