| Strong 6.3 Quake Jolts Pakistan, Hindu Kush Epicenter |
ISLAMABAD - A powerful earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale rattled several parts of Pakistan, including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir.
According to the Seismological Center, the quake originated at a depth of 190 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
Tremors were felt in major cities including Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Murree, Swat, Muzaffarabad, and Skardu. Panic-stricken citizens rushed out of their homes reciting prayers.
While the tremors were significant, no immediate reports of casualties or structural damage have been received.
