“American soldiers will turn into fish food, Iran.”

Tehran – Iran has warned the United States that if it carries out any kind of ground operation against Iran, American soldiers will face serious consequences.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Ibrahim Zolfaqari, stated that in the event of any such misadventure, U.S. troops would “become food for the sharks of the Persian Gulf.”

In his statement, he described remarks by former U.S. President Donald Trump about a ground operation and seizing islands in the Persian Gulf as unrealistic, saying they are merely threats with no connection to realities on the ground.

The spokesperson added that any attempt to attack Iran would result in extremely humiliating and devastating consequences for U.S. forces. He further said that American troops stationed in the region are already surrounded by risks, and any new misadventure would only increase their difficulties.

Ibrahim Zolfaqari also advised the U.S. leadership to learn from Iran’s history and consider the fate of past foreign invaders. He warned that wrong decisions could lead to large-scale loss of life.
