Iranian Delegation Arrives in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD - A high-powered Iranian delegation, headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has arrived in Islamabad for crucial negotiations with the United States.

The delegation, which includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Secretary of the Defense Council, and the Governor of the Central Bank, was received by Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Simultaneously, US Vice President JD Vance is en route to Islamabad, following a brief stopover in France for aircraft refueling.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office reiterated its commitment to facilitating these historic talks to find a lasting solution to the conflict. The discussions are expected to cover security, political, and economic dimensions between the two nations.
