Forces Kill 8 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists at Pak-Afghan Border

RAWALPINDI - Pakistan's security forces successfully repulsed an infiltration attempt by "Fitna al-Khawarij" terrorists from across the Afghan border, killing eight Indian-sponsored terrorists in a high-stakes operation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces acted swiftly upon detecting the movement of terrorists attempting to cross the border into Pakistan. During the intense exchange of fire, eight terrorists were neutralized. A significant cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the deceased terrorists. A clearance operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining threats in the vicinity.

The military's media wing emphasized that the Afghan Taliban's failure to effectively monitor and secure the border has once again been exposed. The ISPR urged the Afghan interim government to honor its commitments and prevent its soil from being used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The statement further highlighted that under "Operation Azm-e-Istehkam," continuous efforts are being made to purge the country of terrorism. This latest action follows successful operations in Bara, Khyber, and Bannu, where 13 terrorists were recently eliminated.

Leadership Commends Security Forces
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the officers and personnel for their successful operation. President Zardari stated that the nation takes pride in the role of security forces in defending the motherland.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the government's unwavering resolve, stating that the war against the "scourge of terrorism" will continue until its complete elimination. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi saluted the bravery of the soldiers for foiling the nefarious designs of Indian-backed elements, affirming that the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Army.
