ISLAMABAD - Advisor to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, stated that the ongoing petroleum crisis in Pakistan is a result of global challenges and not caused by the current

government. Speaking to the media in the federal capital, he noted that the conflict involving Iran has led to a continuous surge in international oil prices.

Sanaullah emphasized that the government is taking measures to provide relief through targeted subsidies and austerity drives. He credited the Prime Minister for ensuring the availability of fuel despite global shortages.

He also criticized political opponents for inciting protests during a national crisis, urging the public to recognize the external factors at play and remain united as a nation.
